Privacy policy
Last updated: 4 November 2026
We collect as little as possible. We don’t sell data, we don’t show ads and we don’t use tracking cookies.
If you create links
- The destination address, the optional title and settings you choose, and the creation date.
- An anonymized fingerprint (one-way hash) of your IP address, used only to limit abuse and spam. We never store the IP itself.
- If you have an account: your username and password (stored only as a secure hash). We don’t ask for your email.
- If you have an account: the country you signed up from and the country of your last login (given by our network provider, Cloudflare — we never store the IP itself), and your time zone, used to show dates in your local time. You can change the time zone from your account.
If you click a link
To show link owners their stats, for each click we store: the date and time, the website you came from (only its domain), your device type, browser and operating system, and your country. To count unique visitors we keep a fingerprint that changes every day and can’t be traced back to you. Click details are deleted after 365 days; only the total count is kept. For links of users with the “click details kept forever” perk, details stay until the link or the account is deleted.
Levels, wall of fame and link pages
Your level is calculated from the number of clicks on your links and the users you invited in the last 30 days; we store these totals in your account. If you choose to appear on the wall of fame, your username and level are shown publicly on the Levels page; you can remove them at any time from your account. If you create a custom link page, its text is shown to everyone who opens your links, and our team can read it to keep the service safe.
Invites
If you sign up with someone’s invite link, a cookie remembers the invite for up to 30 days and your account records who invited you. The person who invited you only sees how many of their invites count, not who you are. To stop fake invites we compare anonymized network fingerprints (never the IP itself).
Discord
If you connect Discord, we store your Discord user ID and display name, so our bot can give you the role of your level on our server and send you private messages about your account (level changes and, every Monday, a summary of your week: clicks, top links and level progress, sent at the right time thanks to your time zone). You can turn the messages off with /level dm:False and /level weekly:False. You can disconnect at any time from your account page or with /unlink on Discord.
Moderation notifications
To keep the service safe, our team gets automatic notifications in a private Discord channel when something happens on the site (for example a new link, a report, a new account or a level change). They include the short link, its destination, your username if you have one, and never your IP address or password.
Support on Discord
Our support server is run on Discord. If you join it, Discord’s own privacy policy applies to what you write there.
Cookies
We use only technical cookies: one to keep you logged in and protect forms, an optional one to remember your login for 30 days, one that remembers links you created without an account (so they can be added to your account later), and one that remembers an invite link for up to 30 days. No analytics or advertising cookies.
Your rights
Links created without an account stop working 30 days after they’re created and are deleted for good, with their click details, 7 days after that, unless you add them to an account first.
You can delete your links at any time, and delete your account with everything in it from your account page. For any other request, contact us from the Help & support page.
